Estella Dinsmore - Easton 98. Died 12-3-1999 at a Mars Hill health care facility. She was born in Kilburn, NB., Canda, 4-26-1901, the daughter of John and Annie (Orser) Grant. She graduated from Fredericton Business School and was employed as a legal secretary in Presque Isle. She then married Fred Dinsmore, a Easton farmer, 1-11-1922. He predeceased her in 1957. An active member of the United Baptist Church in Easton, teaching Sunday school and participating in the music industry and was a strong supporter of the missions programs. She held offices in the Easton Grange, the Pamona Grange, the Rebekah Lodge and the Happy Days Senior Citizens Club in Easton. From 1965-1970 she worked as a dorm mother at NMVTI in Presque Isle. Mrs. Dinsmore was the holder of the Boston Post Gold Headed Cane as Eastons oldest living citizen. She is survived by 3 sons, Robert and his wife, Norma of Easton, George and his wife, Gloria of Live Oaks, FLA. and Carroll and his wife, Janice of Wayne, Nebraska, 2 daughters, Mrs. Henry (Marion) Sikkema of Concord, MA. and Mrs. Wayne (Marjorie) Foren of Burke, VA., 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a niece, Lillian Baird Wilson of Woodstock, NB., Canada. Burial Estes Park cemetery.
