Obituary Overview

In Loving Memory
It is with broken hearts that the family of Donald Wallace Trask of Hastings
announce his passing on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at home. Born in Parrsboro
he was the son of Mary Elizabeth (Baschuk) of Upper Nappan and the late
Wallace George Trask. He founded Cumberland Canoes and owned and operated it
for over 30 years. In recent years he has enjoyed building and fixing
motorcycles with new and old friends. Donnie enjoyed the outdoors, camping,
fishing and riding his motorcycle with friends and family. He accepted with
open arms all of the animals that his family brought home and loved each one
of them dearly. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Susan (Ripley)
of 36 years, daughter Anna, son David, one sister Joan (Dean) Sullivan of
Upper Nappan and special niece and nephews. His family would like you to
drop by and share your memories of Donnie with them on Thursday, April 20,
2017 between 6 and 9 p.m. at Campbell¹s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst
(902) 667-9906. Memorial donations in Donnie¹s memory may be made to the
