Mary Ellen Crowe
1933-2017

With her family by her side, Mary Ellen Crowe, 84, of Hardwoodlands, NS and
formerly of Springhill, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the
Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born March 15, 1933, Ellen was
the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Darlene M. (Thompson) White.

Ellen enjoyed playing cards and darts and, much like her brother Reg, she
liked to win. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother
and enjoyed spending time with everyone.

She will be sadly missed by daughters, Diana Marie (Milton) Ferguson,
Hardwoodlands, NS and Cheryl Ann (Roy) Dale of Maccan; a son Richard Albert
(Liz Higgins) Crowe, of Lantz; multiple grandchildren and great
grandchildren; a brother, Reginald (Carol) White, Dartmouth, as well as
several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Richard "Bill"
Crowe and an infant son William Charles "Billy".

Arrangements have been entrusted to A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) from where visitation will be held on
Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 6-8 pm with a funeral service on Wednesday at 2
pm with The Reverend Wayne McCarther officiating. Burial in North Street
Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Ellen may be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association
