I also found this item today. Maxom was alive in 1921 in Joggins but his
wife, Kathryn was a widow in 1930, living with their two sons, Eric Bruce
Hoeg and Sydney Seymour Hoeg in Quincy, Mass.

Since there doesn't appear to be a N.S. death record, perhaps he died
Stateside after 1921 but before 1930?

The two sons immigrated 23 Aug 1923 from St. John, N.B., per Steve's
research.
