Not sure if this is Steven’s father or not (below). William and Noreen’s marriage could possibly have ended in a divorce with Noreen m/2 Edwin Alfred MacPhee. That’s how Steven got to Springhill? Speculation only at this point.

This Kidd obit has Parrsboro Shore connections as Larry’s maternal grandmother was Rhoda May Dowe from Glasgow Mountain while Steven’s ex-wife, Pamela (Meekins) Kidd Chedore’s maternal grandfather was Stewart Lorne Allen from Fraserville.

KIDD, William F. - 76, Halifax, died March 25, 2004, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Frederick and Anne (Johnson) Kidd. He is survived by his sons, Kent and Steven; brother, Lawrence (Sheila), Bedford; sister, Peggy (Gerry), Sambro Head. William was predeceased by sisters, Doris Doucette and Barbara Smith. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, in St. John the Baptist Church, 25 Purcell's Cove Rd., Halifax, Father Yves Marchildon officiating. announce his passing on January 17, 2017 in Calgary, Alberta. Born in

later date in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
