Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Carl John
Balheim age 73 of Amherst on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at his residence.

Born in Hanover, ON, Carl was a son of the late Albert and Tena (Rossel)
Balheim.

He was an active member of The Living Church of God, where he would share
announcements with the congregation.

Carl was a frequent patron of the Tim Horton¹s drive thru with his best
friend, Baxter. He lived a very active lifestyle, pursing his passion of
restoring old homes and always searching his weekly flyers for the best
price.

Carl will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Ken (Susan), Kitchener, ON,
Richard (Meghan), Amherst, and Harvey, Guelph, ON; beloved grandchildren,
Keiran, Willow and Victoria; his loving friend, Corynne Martian; brothers,
Frederick, Norman; sisters, Marlene Curtis, and Shirley Boucher; his former
wife, Rose O¹Conner, Harriston, ON; as well as several nieces, nephews and
extended family.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm with
Pastor Frank Best presiding from Campbell¹s Funeral Home, 98 Church St.,
Amherst (902) 667-9906 with a reception to follow in the Knights of Columbus
hall.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Carl¹s memory may be
made to the Living Church of God.
