CHANDLER
Clyde Ira - Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 7th, 2005 at the
Brantford General Hospital, in his 79th year, Clyde Chandler; loving
husband of Mary Chandler nee Doma of 56 years. The beloved father of Wayne
Chandler and his wife Clair Brooklyn, Nova Scotia; devoted grandfather of
Kris, Sarah and Marika; great- grandfather to Oriah; survived by his
siblings, Bea, Marion, Edgel, Meta and Elma and his large extended family;
predeceased by his siblings Uzena, Wes, Muriel, Herbie, Anna, his mother
Jane and his father Ira, of Tantalon, Nova Scotia. Born in French Village,
Nova Scotia on June 4th, 1926, Clyde served in the army during the Second
World War before moving to Brantford where he married in 1949. He worked
for Harding Carpets and was an avid golfer and gardener. Family and
friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Ceremony at St.
Basil's Parish Hall at 50 Palace Street on Friday, February 11th from 2 to
4 p. m. Donations may be made in Clyde's memory to the Canadian Diabetes
Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. He will be fondly
remembered by all! He was not the best, but he was better than the
