It’s known that William Francis Norris Desmond of Parrsboro died 10 May 1980 in New Bedford, Mass.

I was recently sent this obit (below) by someone who wishes to remain anonymous.

Would anyone on the list be able to confirm this by a marriage record etc?

Thanks.

Dave

Hi David,
I think I've found his second wife, whom he married after moving to New Bedford, MA and divorcing Phyllis Graham Desmond (later Hiltz).  I don't know if you've seen this record previously and am curious if you think it is a match.  It's from South Coast Today, New Bedford, MA 22 July 1997.  I've copied and pasted it below.  It does not look like he had any more children.
