Re: Nolan Reginald Morris Jr.

I did find his wife's obit if that helps

Newburyport, MA-Patricia (Reardon) Morris, 86 of Newburyport died peacefully on February 20, 2014

at Port Healthcare in Newburyport with her loving family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of Nolan R. Morris Jr. who passed away in 2004.

One of two children, of the late Jerome Alfred (Darby) Reardon and Alice (Meagher) Reardon of Newburyport, she was born in Newburyport on September 25, 1927 and was a graduate of Newburyport High School Class of 1945.  Pat loved her home in Newburyport and was an active member of the community for her entire life.  She grew up on Dexter Street and spent all of her married life on Jefferson Street.  In the past few years she lived at the Heritage House where she enjoyed the many welcoming people.

Pat loved cooking, especially her grandchildren's favorite cookies. She was also an avid reader enjoying her weekly visits to the Newburyport Public Library.  Spending time with those close to her was an important part of Pat's daily life.  She welcomed her family and friends to her home not only on the holidays but every day.  Often she would be seen bringing groceries or delivering a hot meal to someone who was in need of care and compassion.  She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish and was a true support for the many people she cared for during her life.  Following in her father's footsteps, Pat always had a devoted dog by her side and she truly loved spending time with her family's dogs.

Patricia leaves behind two children, her son Michael and his wife Cheryl of Newburyport, MA and her daughter, Julie Carey of Amesbury, MA.  Spending time with their "Nannie" was always very important to her three devoted grandchildren, Allison Lazarz and her husband Christopher of Taunton, MA; Patrick Carey of Amesbury, MA and Haley Morris of Newburyport, MA.  She also leaves behind her nephew Peter Yates and his wife Peggy of Berkeley Shores, New Jersey and their two children, Emma and Alli. She was predeceased by her sister Alice Reardon Yates who passed away in 1970.

Family and friends may call on Monday February 24th from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Twomey-LeBlanc & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950.
