N.B. in the 1960's.
They are believed to have had issue of 5 children; Ralph, Martin, Coral

Arlene Steeves
Arlene Steeves, 59, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on
Wednesday December 22, 2010. Born in Advocate Harbour, NS, she was the
daughter of the late Russell and Annie (Allen) Dowe.
Arlene will be sadly missed by her sons, Darrin Steeves and Rick Steeves
(Sara), both of Moncton; treasured grandson, Aidyn; special friend, Weston
Beaumont; brothers, Martin and Leon Dowe. In addition to her parents, she
was predeceased by her sister, Coral and brother, Ralph.
In keeping with Arlene¹s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or
funeral service.
Donations in Arlene¹s memory to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or the
Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.

Tracy Lynn Dowe
1969-2002
Tracy Lynn Dowe, 32, of Saint John and formerly of Riverside-Albert passed
away after a courageous battle with cancer on March 28, 2002 at the Saint
John Regional Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born in Moncton on September 17, 1969. She was the daughter of the
late Ralph Dowe and Anne (MacKenna) Dowe. Tracy graduated from Caledonia
High School in 1987 then she attended the Atlantic Business College and
received her degree in 1989. She worked for the Blue Cross in Moncton then
got transferred to the Saint John Branch of the Blue Cross where she worked
for a few years. She later got a job with the City of Saint John at the
Public Safety Communications Centre last working as a 911 dispatcher. She
was a member of the Riverside Golf and Country Club where she was an avid
golfer and curler. Tracy was a very special person who had many good friends
and will be remembered dearly by all who knew her.
She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her
mother, Anne Dowe of Riverside-Albert; sister, Christa Geldart (Darrell) of
Turtle Creek; brother, Dale Dowe of Riverside-Albert; 3 nieces, Amy, Emily
and Katie. She will also be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles and
cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Ralph in July of 1989.
A celebration of Tracy's Life will be held at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home,
100 Waterloo Street, Saint John on Saturday, March 30thfrom 2-4pm for all
those wishing to pay their respects.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape
with the Visitation on March 31, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral Mass
will be held at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church on April 1, 2002 at 2pm with
Father Jean Coutoure officiating. Internment will be held in the Fair Haven
Memorial Gardens, Moncton.
Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends
at the Recreation Center in Riverside-Albert for further sharing of memories
and refreshments.
In lieu of flowers the family request that you donate a pint of blood, do a
good deed in Tracy's memory or give a donation to the charity of your
choice.

Deborah "Debbie" Dowe
1947-2014
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah "Debbie"
Dowe, 66, of Lakeview Manor and formerly of Hopewell Cape. She passed away
peacefully on March 16th, 2014 at her residence and was blessed to have her
loving husband and three of her siblings by her side.
Debbie was born in Hillsborough on November 9th, 1947, the daughter of the
late Harold and Kaye (Tower) Locke. She worked as a manager with W.L. Smith
for over 25 years. She attended the St. Mary's Anglican Church in
Hillsborough when she was able. She was a beloved wife, mother and
grandmother. Her family were her everything and she loved all the times they
spent together. " Your gentle smile and generous heart will live with us
forever."
She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband and best friend, Leon Dowe
of Hopewell Cape; her cherished daughters, Mandy Dowe of Mississauga, ON and
Nicole Kelly of Orangeville, ON; her five treasured grandsons and one
precious great granddaughter; her siblings, Jim (Annette), Jon (Irene) ,
Philip (Carol) and Veronica Locke all of Moncton. She will also be missed by
several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Gary.
Honoring Debbie's own wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
A private graveside service will be held in the River View Cemetery,
Hopewell Cape, NB at a later date.
Donations to the Charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated.
