Heather  M. Morris
1960 - 2017

Morris, Heather M. - Age 56, of Advocate  Harbour passed away Sunday, March
19, 2017 in the Cumberland Regional  Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born
in Spencer's Island, she was the  daughter of the late Willard and Elizabeth
(Fridge) Stronge. Heather  achieved her Master Hairdresser's Certificate for
Nova Scotia and was  employed with various businesses, as well as operating
her own shop. She  also worked at the Chignecto Manor, Grant's General Store,
Chignecto  Variety and the Beach Cafe. She volunteered with the Advocate  &
District Voluntary Fire Brigade Ladies Auxiliary and Bingo. She is  survived
by her husband, Gregory; brothers, Douglas, Richard (Lynn), Jim  (Doris),
Stephan (Nancy); sisters-in-law, Verna (Wayne), Debbie, Diane  (Tom);
brothers-in-law, Albert (Judy), Nick (Bev), Richard (Dale), Kenny  (Shirley);
and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, will be sadly missed by  her loving
cats, Monkey and Nosey. She was predeceased by a sister, Audrey;  a brother,
Millard in infancy; father and mother-in-law, Ashley ‘Harl’ and  Mabel.
Visitation 12-2 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Advocate  Baptist
Church, where funeral will follow at 2 p.m., Pastor Doug Lake  officiating.
Burial in the Advocate Cemetery. Reception to follow in the  Advocate Baptist
Church. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of  choice.
