OBITUARY
CREIGHTON, L. Mina - 76, Lower Five Islands, Colchester County, died Sunday in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born in Lower Economy, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Agnes (Greenough) Berry. She graduated from Normal College in Truro and taught school in Boydtown and Lower Five Islands. She was postmistress at Lower Five Islands for many years. She was a member of Peniel United Church Choir, UCW, and taught Sunday school. She is survived by three daughters, Vera (Mrs. Ronald Faulkner), Amherst; Jean (Mrs. Neil Fisher), Sandra, (Mrs. Kenneth Faulkner), both of Truro; two step-daughters, Dodie (Mrs. Ronald Mills), Mrs. Marilyn Burdux, both of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.; a sister, Nellie (Mrs. Sandy Dickie), Powell River, B.C.; a brother Gower Berry, Truro; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Bert Marsh, her second husband, Ernest Creighton, a brother, Lyman Berry. The body is in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, with visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday in Peniel Church, Rev. Robert Mack officiating. Burial in church cemetery. Donations to Peniel Church building fund or Canadian Cancer Society.
