OBITUARY: Otto D. Veniott
Springhill - Otto Dan Veniott, 81, of 42 Junction Road, Springhill, died
Saturday at home.

Born in Union Square, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Daniel and
Julia (Fiendell) Veniott.

He was a member of All Saints Anglican Church, Springhill, and spent the
major part of his working life in the lumber industry.

He is survived by his wife, the former R. Eileen Rector; a son, Robert,
Springhill; a step-son, Rev. Maynard Rector, Woodstock; a brother, Terry,
Lunenburg County; and four grandchildren.

He was predeceased by four sisters, Deliah, Genevieve, Mary and Minnie; and
five brothers, Cecil, Percy, Charles, Edwin and Frederick.

The body is in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, where funeral service
will be held 2 p.m. today, Rev. Douglas Chard officiating. Committal service
will be in Springhill Receiving Vault, with burial in Mapleton Cemetery,
Cumberland County at a later date.
