Catherine Isabel PARRY June 18 1933 - February 14, 2017 Age 83, our beloved
Kay passed away February 14, 2017 in West Vancouver with family by her side.
Born in 1933 in Springhill, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of David
Gillis (of Pictou) and Sadie Gillis née Beaton (of Springhill). A Bluenoser
from birth, Kay or K.K. as she was known by her sisters, moved to Edmonton
as a child in 1947. She lived there only eight years, but she'd forever be
an Eskimo who bled green and gold to the end. In 1957 she moved to
Vancouver, where a few years later she met her love of her life, Robert.
They eventually settled down on the North Shore in 1972. She was a friend to
all, a loving grandmother and the best mum in the world. She is survived by
her husband (Robert) and her sister (Joan), and her children David (Mary
Cullen-Parry), Colleen (Greg Lohin) and Kel (Allison) and her seven
grandchildren Jacob, Mackenzie, Siobhan, Kate, Sarah, Tatum and Neeva.

February 25th at 11 AM at St. Anthony's Parish, 2347 Inglewood Ave, West
Vancouver.
