Born Carol Ann Quinn, 23 Feb 1943 at Springhill

I have seen a baptism record for a Carol Ann Quinn, born 23 Feb 1943 in All
Saints Hospital, Springhill and baptized 5 Mar 1943 in St. Peter's Chapel at
the hospital. Her mother was Rozie Quinn; no father listed.

I believe Carol has an older brother/half brother, Jerry Filmore Quinn, born
6 Jul 1941 at All Saints Hospital, Springhill. His obit indicates he was
raised a Chatfield. Jerry's baptism also shows his mother was Rozie Quinn;
no father listed. Jerry was born 4 years before his mother m/1 Mr. Chatfield
on 3 Apr 1945 at All Saints Anglican Church.

In the 3 obits below, none reference a Carol Ann

Did Rosie keep son, Jerry Filmore Quinn but daughter, Carol Ann Quinn was
put up for adoption?

My reason for this query is so many adopted children are now attempting to
locate their birth parents. Many if only for past medical family history
reasons.
