LANGILLE, Brian David

Age 72, of East Lawrencetown, passed away on September 2, 2013. Born in
Halifax, on June 30, 1941, he was a son of the late Mabel Peverille and
David Langille. Brian grew up in Lower Sackville, raised to appreciate hard
work and the gifts of nature, which he did all of his life. He worked in the
automotive industry for 25 years in GM dealerships: Scotia Chev-Olds, Scotia
Pontiac, Peterson Pontiac and MacPhee Pontiac, as a service manager, giving
genuine care and service to his customers. He continued caring for customers
as an independent milkman for Baxter's Dairy. For 25 years, he delivered to
Woodside, Eastern Passage, Cow Bay, Lawrencetown, and Salmon River, retiring
in 2010 to devotedly care for his wife of 32 years, Anne Doiron. Brian LOVED
the Liscombe River, travelling from Caledonia all the way to the end,
fishing and hunting for 55 years, he found his little piece of heaven on
earth in those waters. Surviving are sons, John (Kim), Bedford; James (Kim),
Lower Sackville; half-brother, Quinton, Sussex N.B.; stepchildren, Gary,
Kevin, Derek, Kim; 15 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife,
Lois Reid; second wife, Anne. Cremation has taken place under the direction
of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on
Saturday, September 14, in Good Shepherd Church, 3621 Lawrencetown Rd.,
Pastor Gary Boyd officiating. A reception will be held after the service.
Burial to follow in Lawrencetown Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in
Brian's memory may be made to Good Shepherd Church.
