Obituary
The family of Fern Isobel Carscadden age 79 of Amherst are saddened to
announce her passing on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Gables Lodge,
Amherst.
Born in Vars, ON, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sadie Stuart.
Fern will be missed by her sons Jeff and Matthew; daughters Janet and Paula;
grandsons Brandon and Brett; sisters Willa Stuart, Helen Saari, Virley
Edwards; brother Ivan (Norma) Stuart; sister in-law Marie McDonald; brother
in-law Eli Morgan and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Ray, Gerald, Gordon, Alton and Sid;
sisters Jean Duquatte, Pauline Curley and Bessie Morgan.
A celebration of Fern¹s life will be held Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 2
4 p.m. at Campbell¹s Funeral Home, 98 Church St. Amherst, 902-667-9906.
Following with Fern¹s wishes she will be interred at a later date in
Ontario.
Donations can be made in Fern¹s memory to the Residence Counsel of Gables
Lodge or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
