Delora "Dolly" Thomas
Delora "Dolly" Thomas 1933 - 2005 SHEDIAC, NB - Delora "Dolly" Thomas, of
Shediac, passed away at her residence on Friday, June 10, 2005 at the age of
72 years. Born in Shediac, NB on June 5, 1933, she was the daughter of the
late A.W. and Ruby Joyce Vanderfeer. She was a member of Trinity United
Church, Shediac, a member of the UCW within the church, and a member of the
church choir for many years, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern
Star Zetland Chapter #26, Daughter of the Nile, also she was a member of the
Shediac Lionettes with 20 years service. She is survived by her husband,
Evan Thomas; daughters, Catherine (Richard) McGinn of Shediac and Christine
Murray of Riverview; sons, Roy Oakes of Fort Murray, Alta, and John (Nan)
Oakes of Shediac; sister, Peggy (Rodney) Gallant of North Bay, ON; brother,
Peter (Katherine) Vanderfeer of Moncton; 11 grandchildren, Sean (Tina)
McGinn, Kevin (Jennifer) McGinn, Jason (Jennifer) McGinn, and Aaron McGinn,
Michael (Cindy) Murray, Daniel Murray, Jody Murray, Jessica (Jr) Leblanc,
Melissa Oakes, Tanya Oakes, and Nicole Oakes; six great grandchildren, Lila,
Keilan, Nathan, and Kyle McGinn and Joshua Oakes. Besides her parents she
was predeceased by her first husband, Jack Oaks; and her sister, Marion
Foster. The Eastern Star will be holding a service at Tuttle Brothers
Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, Moncton on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 6:45pm.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from
7:009:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Trinity United Church,
Shediac on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 2:00pm. In Dolly's memory, donations
made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to The Order of the Eastern Star

Kevin Michael McGinn
1977-2008
Kevin Michael McGinn of Riverview, passed away moments upon receiving his
first degree black belt in Karate on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the age of
30 years.

Born in Moncton NB, on September 3, 1977 he was the son of Richard and
Catherine (Oakes) McGinn of Riverview. Kevin was an IT Specialist working
for the past three years with On Q Marketing. He had been a member of the
Riverview Karate Studio (Police Martial Arts Association) since 1994 and
will be remembered as being a role model within the association.

Besides his parents Richard and Catherine, he is survived by his wife
Jennifer (Finnamore) McGinn and their two children Nathan and Kyle; brothers
Sean (Tena) of Oromocto, Jason (Jen) of Saint John, and Aaron of Riverview;
step maternal grandfather Evan Thomas of Shediac; mother and father in law
Stewart and Jeannette of Fredericton; sister in law Denise (David) McFadzen
of Fredericton; brother in law Ken (Carrie) Green of Riverview; four nieces;
one nephew; and many friends.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Jack and Dolly Oakes, also
by paternal grandparents Robert and Velma McGinn.

Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on
Tuesday, April 1, 2008 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm.

The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on
Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 11:00 am.

In Kevin's memory, donations made to the memorial of the donors choice would
be appreciated by his family.
