OBITUARY:
Pettigrew, Paul Jason - 39, 44 Morris St., Springhill, formerly of
Leamington, Cumberland County, died September 30, 1993, as a result of a
woods accident in the Leamington district. Born in Springhill, he was a son
of Mrs. Margaret Elaine (Hodges) Pettigrew and the late Silas Wilfred (Pard)
Pettigrew. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 17,
Springhill and worked most recently in woodworking and carpentry. He is
survived by two daughters, Angela, Amanda, both of Cape Breton; two sons,
Scott, Jason, both of Cape Breton; three sisters, Belinda (Mrs. Kenneth
Meekins), Lower Five Islands; Dorothy (Mrs. Kenneth Johnson), Oromocto,
N.B.; Allie, at home; two brothers, Silas, Pugwash; Christopher, Revere,
Mass.; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother,
Norman. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m., today in A.H. Brown Funeral Home,
Springhill, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Elroy McKillop
officiating. Burial will be in Mapleton Cemetery, Cumberland County.
