Obituary of Robert Madore

Madore, Robert Ervin ³Bob², born July 30, 1952 in Pugwash. It is with broken
hearts the family announce the passing of Bob, surrounded by his family at
the CRHCC in Upper Nappan on Sunday, December 20, 2015. Bob was the son of
the late Bessie (Newcombe) and Wilfred Madore. He is survived by his loving
wife of 45 years, Narda (Patriquin); daughters, Candace (Rob) Smith,
Stittsville, Ont; Mari Ann (John) Stiles, Debert; sons, Joe (Liza), Debert;
and Darcy, Dartmouth; his six grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew, Riley, Bailey,
Elizabeth and Charlotte; siblings, Anna (Clair) Ripley, Queenstown, NB; Jim
(Darlene), Truro; Marilyn Green, Woodstock, Ont; Judy (George) Sayer,
Pembroke, Ont; Fred (Teresa), Dartmouth; Bruce (Jeannie), Innisfail, Alta;
Brian (Marilyn), Nunavut. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his
brother, Sonny; brother-in-law, Jack Green; sisters-in-law, Deanna and
Moira; niece, Maddie. He was always devoted to his work; in his early years
he was the manager of the Pugwash CO-OP then moved on to own and operate
Madore¹s General Store in Wentworth; he then retired as an underground mine
foreman at the Pugwash Salt Mine after 15 years. He also served as a
volunteer firefighter with the Wentworth Fire Department for many years. His
free time was spent golfing, fishing, playing baseball and hockey and
jamming with his band mates, Peter, Eddie and Pat. Most important to him was
spending time with his family, who will miss him dearly. There will be no
visitation. A service and celebration of Bob¹s life will be take place at 2
p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Mundle¹s Funeral Home, 204 Water
Street, Pugwash, with a reception to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of
flowers donations may be made to the Lung Association. Condolences may be
