Could be a mistake in the obits, first one has three sons and three daughters, second one has four sons and two daughters.







OBITUARY

Henry Cavanaugh

On Monday, July 23rd, there passed to his eternal rest at East Mines, Col. Co., N.S., Henry Cavanaugh, at the age of 74 years, after a prolonged illness through which time he was tenderly cared for by his wife.

Mr. Cavanagh was born at Parrsboro, Cumberland County, N.S.

The funeral was held on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at his home. The funeral service being conducted by Rev. H. Upham, Glenholme. The hymns sung were "The Lord's my Shepherd," and "Lead Kindly Light," rendered by the Debert choir.

In his immediate family he is survived by his wife, formerly Margaret Robertson, three sons and three daughters, Charles, Truro, N.S.; Mrs. S. B. Cameron, Eureka, Pictou County; Mrs J. R. Harris, Los Angeles, Calif.; Percy, Windsor, Ont.; Seymour, East Mines and Elva, at home.

The pall bearers were Donald Stevens, Alvin Weatherbee, Harold Slack and Henry Reid.

Interment took place at Glenholme cemetery.

The floral offerings were: Pillow from family. Wreaths: Percy, Judith and family, Seymour, Alice and Norma, Mrs. Maynard Campbell. Sprays: Muriel and Bert, Charles and Georgena. Cut Flowers: Percy and Donald, Charlie and Donnie. Telegram of sympathy: J. W. Gra?, St. John, N.B., also many cards and letters of sympathy.

GLENHOLME

The funeral of Mr. Henry Cavanagh(sic) was held at his home at East Mines Station on July 25th. He leaves to mourn their loss four sons and two daughters and his widow, formerly Miss Margaret Robertson. His remains were laid to rest in the Glenholme cemetery. Rev. Hugh Upham was the officiating clergyman at both services.
