Obituary for Mary Gatchell
Gatchell, Mary Edna ­ 86, of Pugwash, passed away October 15, 2015 in
Pugwash. Born in Wood Point, NB, she was a daughter of the late William
Irving and Edna (Snowdon) Mundle. She was a member of the Wesley-St.
Matthews United Church, Pugwash. She also owned and operated Mundle¹s
Funeral Home and Ambulance Service, Pugwash with her husband, Karl for a
number of years. Surviving are her children, Robert (Phyllis), Talladega,
AL; David (Linda), Tampa, FL; Paul (Cindy), Pugwash Point; Cathy (Eddie),
Tampa, FL; brother, William (Carolyn), Pugwash Point; grandchildren,
Shannon, Tampa; Erin, St. Petersburg, FL; brother-in-law, Bill (Greta),
Truro; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Karl.
Visitation will be 12-2 pm. on Saturday, October 17th, immediately preceding
the funeral service at 2 p.m., all in Wesley-St. Matthews United Church,
Pugwash, Rev. Meggin King officiating. A reception will follow the service
in the church basement. Burial will take place at a later date in Riverside
Cemetery, Wallace River. Donations may be made to Wesley-St. Matthew¹s
United Church or Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to
Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Additional
