Not that I can see at the moment but there is an Apple River connection by marriage.
Watson Lewis Weaver’s parents were Lewis B. Weaver, born Kings County, N.S., and Ellida Natalie “Nettie” Seaman, born Wallace, N.S.
After Watson’s father died, his mother m/2 twice widowered Capt. Bamford Adam McCullough from Apple River. Both Bamford and Nettie died in Parrsboro.
Watson had a brother, Robert who died young (8 years old in 1912) in Springhill and two sisters, Mary (Weaver) Hartling who moved Stateside, dying at age 19 and Erma Ellis Weaver who m/1 1925 in Parrsboro-divorced 1932 Comer Belknap Strong from Pereaux, N.S.

Oxford - Mrs. Erma E. Strong, 78, Oxford, formerly of Springhill, died Saturday in Highland View Hospital, Amherst. Born in Springhill, she was the former Erma Ellis Weaver, a daughter of the late Lewis B. and Ellida (Seaman) Weaver. She is survived by a cousin, Irene MacKenzie, Truro. She was predeceased by a brother, Watson. The body is in the A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, where the funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. James Martell officiating, with burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.

In the Moss Diary Book, there is a Watson L. Weaver, born March 19,
1895, died September 6, 1972, buried Hillside Cemetery, Springhill. Son
of Lewis B. & Elleda (Seaman) Weaver.
However this death date is not on the Halifax Herald CD.

OBITUARY: Watson Weaver
Watson Weaver passed away in MacAloney's Nursing Home, Springhill, on Wednesday morning, September 6th, following a lengthy illness. He was 77. Left to mourn his passing is one sister, Irma Strong, Oxford. The remains will rest at Brown's Funeral Home where the service will be held on Friday, September 8th at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. G. Boyd Butt. Interment will be made in Hillside Cemetery.
