Obituary: Ogden
Peacefully, with family by his side, on Monday, August 4, 2008, Aubrey Henry
Ogden passed away in his 86th year. Survived by his loving wife of 64 years
Doris Ogden. Sadly missed by children Mike (Rose), Wendy Laferriere
(Richard), Susan Rock (Steve), Steve (Mary Lou) and Cathy Monchamp (Paul).
Loving granddad of Michelle, Shelby, Kaitlyn, Stephanie (Barry), Tyler,
Andrew, Emily, Tammy, Lee and Jamie. Dear great-granddad of Logan, Brandon
and Tanner. Predeceased by parents Amos and Lilly, siblings Pauline,
Dorothy, Tom and Max. Mr. Ogden was a D-Day Veteran and also served in the
R.C.A.F. Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas
Street East (at Wavell), on Friday, August 8, 2008 from 2-3 p.m. A Legion
service will be held under the auspices of the Victory Branch Legion, No.
317 at 3 p.m. where the memorial service will immediately follow. Inurnment
to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke
Foundation would be appreciated. Thanks to the health care professionals at
the London Health Sciences Centre with special thanks to Dr. Malthaner, the
caring staff in CCTU and Thoracic surgical care unit.
