OBITUARY

Mrs. Frederick Pierce

Parrsboro - The body of Mrs. Frederick Pierce who passed away at Sydney on Friday evening arrived on the afternoon train on Monday accompanied by her husband and son and daughter. Service was held at St. George's church, and grave conducted by Rev. C. R. Harris, interment was made in the Episcopal Cemetery. The pall bearers were C. A. Huntley, A. P. Gavin, H. T. Smith, and V. B. Fullerton. The late Mrs. Pierce was born in Halfway River, Cumberland Co., and moved with her parents to Parrsboro, as a very young child, being possessed of a kind and loving disposition she always made many friends wherever she went, she was the second daughter of the late John W. Harrison and Mrs. McEwen, of Moncton who survived her also her husband, one daughter Camille and son William of Sydney and three sisters, Mrs. Walter Howard, Misses Anna and Birdie Harrison of New York and three brothers, Lawrence and Everett of New York and Robert, merchant in the West.
