Brenton Vaun Pleshaw
ADAMS -- Brenton Vaun Pleshaw, 59, of 15 Sayles St., died Tuesday at the Berkshire Family Resource Center, 37 Elm St. Born in Adams, Feb. 6, 1948, son of Gervin and Gladys A. Griswold Pleshaw, he attended local schools.

Mr. Pleshaw leaves two brothers, Douglas V. Pleshaw of Adams and Bruce Pleshaw of Athens, Ohio.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A prayer service for Brenton V. Pleshaw, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, will be offered Friday at 2 p.m. in MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME in Adams, with the Rev. Deacon Gregory LaFreniere officiating. A visitation period will take place prior to the service from noon to 2 p.m.

Gladys A. Pleshaw
ADAMS -- Gladys Arlene Pleshaw, 85, of 15 Sayles St., died Tuesday at North Adams Commons, where she had resided since February 2005. Born in Adams on Sept. 19, 1922, daughter of Albert and Marion Lepine Griswold, she attended local schools.

Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Pleshaw was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for a short time during World War II.

Her husband, Gervin D. Pleshaw, whom she married March 24, 1942, in Charlemont, died in 2001.

She leaves three sons, Douglas V. and Brenton V. Pleshaw, both of Adams, and Bruce Pleshaw of Athens, Ohio; a sister, Phyllis F. Griswold of Adams; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A prayer service for Gladys Pleshaw, who died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, will be offered today at 3 p.m. at MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Liberty St., Adams, by the Rev. Greg LaFreniere. Burial will follow in the family plot in Bellevue Cemetery. A calling hour will be held today at 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Mrs. Pleshaw also leaves a daughter-in-law, Tiffany; several nephews; and four grandchildren, Tamara Clairmont, and Douglas, Katlyn and David Pleshaw. Two brothers, Franklin and Albert A. Griswold, are deceased, along with a sister, Marion Perrier, who died in 2004.
