Ripley, Eva L. - Age 94, of Lakelands, Cumberland County passed away
Saturday, March 7, 2015 at The Mira, Truro. Born in Aulac, N.B., she was a
daughter of the late Walter and Albertha (Stiles) Smith. She is survived by
daughters, Margaret Nichol (Robert), Cold Lake, Alta.; Meredith Brown
(Bill), Halifax; Jacqueline Sexton, Thorold, Ont.; Joan Fife (Angus),
Lakelands; Rosalie Pettigrew (Hughie), Lakelands; sons, Dennis, Annapolis
Valley; David (P.J.), Albert (Barb), all of Lakelands; sisters, Freda
Anderson, Surrey, B.C.; Clara Evans, Debert; brother, Robert, Tignish;
several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her husband, Garfield in 2007; a son, Herbert; a
sister, Evelyn; brothers, Maxwell, Harvey, Kenny. Visitation 12 to 2 p.m. on
Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Smith¹s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral
service will follow at 2 p.m., Rev. Philip Scott officiating. Spring burial
in the Parrsboro United Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the
Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
