FORT LAWRENCE - Vincent Leonard Smith, 67, of Fort Lawrence died Monday at home. Born in Nappan, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Smith. He owned and operated a farm in Nappan until 1956 when he moved to Fort Lawrence where he owned and operated a service station. He was a member of Nappan United Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Georgia Brown of Athol; two sons, Lloyd and Bruce, both of Fort Lawrence; a brother, Roy, Maccan; five grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Fred. The body is at Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst, where funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m.   Rev. Gordon Decker will officiate. Burial will be in Fenwick cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Heart Foundation.
