Obituary

Cecilia (Cis) Madeline Rayworth age 91, of Amherst passed away Monday,
February 16, 2015 at Gables Lodge, Amherst.

Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Cormier)
Landry.

After graduating from St. Charles Commercial School, she worked for Canada
Car during WWII. After the war Cis worked at Sifto Salt plant for thirty six
years, retiring in 1985.

She was a member of the Holy Family Parish, St. Vincent de Paul Society and
the Kidney Foundation. She enjoyed bowling, golf and bluegrass music. She
was a Eucharistic Minister at her parish.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Cis is survived by two nieces Carolyn Whalen of Fredericton, NB, one Dianne
(Arthur) McAleer of Oromocto, NB, one nephew Grant (Cindy) Legere of Porters
Lake, NS, she will be fondly remembered by nephew Ronnie and nieces Eleanor,
Ruth and Cheryl and many friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Albert, her brother Laurie Landry and
Father Bernard Landry, her sister Hazel Legere, niece Cheryl Landry and
nephew Michael Landry and nephew in law Charles Whalen.

At Cis¹ request there will be no visitation.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11 a.m. from Holy
Family Roman Catholic Church, Amherst with Father Vernon Driscoll.

Interment will take place in the spring in the Amherst Cemetery, Amherst.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer¹s Society or the
charity of the donor¹s choice.

and beyond their call of duty.
