OBITUARY:
Kennedy, Thomas Montgomery - 67, Pictou Landing, passed away suddenly
Monday, June 12, 2000, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax,
he was a son of the late Henry D. and Martha (Tuttle) Kennedy. He was
retired from Michelin Tire. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Hallman, Halifax; sons, Michael
(Cheryl), Rocky Mountain House, Alta.; Mark (Cathy), Waterville;
grandchildren, Lindsay, Anne, Jaime, Anne, Mitchell Thomas; sister, Ruth,
Victoria, B.C.; brother, John, Ontario. He was predeceased by by his wife,
the former Carol MacKay; brother, Bill; sister, Sue. Visitation will be held
2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral
service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Bethel Presbyterian Church, Pictou
Landing, Mr. Mike Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood
Cemetery. Flowers gracefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart
and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the S.P.C.A.
