Mona Marie Hannah
1923-2015

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mona Marie Hannah, age
91, of Windham Hill, NS. Mona passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3,
2015 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.

Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Harmon and Mary Spence.

Mona was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church; the Lady Minto Rebekah
Lodge # 23, Springhill; the Sunrise Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, the
Springhill Lions Club, the IODE, a leader of the Cumberland 4H and past
director of the Tantramar Pony club. She enjoyed reading, knitting and
spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed by sons, Thomas (Eva), Edmonton, AB, William (Bev)
and Jack (Patti) both of Springhill and Donald of Windham Hill; brother
Kenneth of Bedford, NS; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Hannah in 1998; granddaughter
Shirley Ann; brothers, Harmon Jr., Jack, Donald, Alvin, Ernest, Robert and
Ernie; sisters, Helen, Evelyn, Maurietta and Francis.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A. H. Brown Funeral Service, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) where visitation will be held on Monday,
February 9, 2015 from 1 pm until the time of the funeral. The funeral will
follow immediately at 3 pm from the funeral home, Pastor Paul Berry
officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, at a
later date.
