Obituary for Pamela MacDonald


It is with great sadness that the family of Pamela Cecelia MacDonald, of
Lunenburg and formerly of Springhill announces her passing on Tuesday
January 27th at home.

Born in Springhill, Pamela was a daughter of the late Norman and Courtine
(Fillmore) MacDonald.

While residing in Springhill, Pamela was a faithful and dedicated employee
of the Anne Murray Centre in Springhill and after moving to Lunenburg,
Pamela worked for the South Shore District Health Authority.

Pamela is survived by her companion, Shawn Turner; son, Jermane Ashe,
Springhill; sisters, Norma Mastrangalo, Edmonton, Alberta; Beverly Baker,
Nahunta, Georgia; Cheryl (Earl) Sampson, Lower Sackville; brother, Carson
(Jeanette) MacDonald, Bible Hill; grandchildren, Jasmine Dias Courtine and
Jai-Lynn , Attelboro, Massachusetts; mother-in-law, Dorthea and step
father-in-law, Jared (Frenchy) Stevenson, Maitland; father in-law, William
(Ted) Turner, Dayspring, daughter in-law, Sharla (Dave) Hart and several
nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sister, Patsy, and brothers-in-law, Bob and Ralph.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral
Home, 11213, Hwy #3, Lunenburg. A celebration of Pam¹s life will be held on
Saturday January 31, 2015 at the Lunenburg Fire Hall, 25 Medway Street,
Lunenburg from 2-4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer
Canada Foundation, the Anne Murray Centre, Springhill, or SHAID Tree Animal
Shelter, Whynotts Settlement.
