birthday.
Born in Port Greville, he was son of the late Albert F. and Ellen L. (Lake)

minesweepers and later fish draggers, and many varieties of sailing craft.
Retiring early, he had a salmon seine for several summers. An avid fisherman
and gardener, he remained active until failing sight in recent months made
that impossible.
A member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Fox River, he served for many
years on the parish vestry, acting as treasurer of parish and cemetery funds
for. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Knights of Pythias.
He is survived by his wife, Isabelle; five daughters, Constance (Mrs. Jack
Vitali), New Westminster, B.C.; Ellen (Mrs. Chesley Wheaton), Amherst; Anna
