OBITUARY:
Wright, Margaret Rose - 63, Pleasant Street, Truro, passed away Tuesday,
April 23, 2002, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Fox River,
Cumberland Co., she was a daughter of the late James and Rena (Chandler)
Lake. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, Truro, the A.C.W. and
Altar Guild. She was Regent of Colchester Chapter IODE and a former member
of the Colchester Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by her loving
daughter, Rhonda Marie Wright, Alliston, Ont.; sons Randall Arthur and Roger
Derrick, both of Ottawa; sisters, Jean Garland, Lower Sackville; Kay
Boutilier, Saskatchewan; Carol Getson, Bramalee, Ont.; brother, Sydney Lake,
Antigonish; grandchildren, Clayton Berry, Robert Berry, Robyn Wright,
Richard Wright; much loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
husband, Lewis Scott; son, Richard; brother, Clarence. Cremation has taken
place. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in Mattatall Funeral Home,
Truro. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John's
Anglican Church, Truro, Rev. Lori Ramsey will officiate with a reception to
follow. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Upper Stewiacke. Donations in
memory may be made to Humane Society.
