OBITUARY: Mrs. James Graham
Fox River - Mrs. James Graham, 86, of Fox River, Cumberland County, died
Sunday at MacAloney Nursing Home, Springhill.
Born in Fox River, she was the former Effie Vivian Allen, daughter of the
late Albert and Elizabeth Blake[sic, Lake] Allen.
She is survived by four daughters, Rae (Mrs. Lorimer Reid), Advocate; Helen
(Mrs. Ralph Donkin), Fenwick; Jean (Mrs. William Thorpet[sic, Thorpe]),
Dartmouth; and Eleanor, (Mrs. John Donaldson), Newcastle, N.B.; three sons,
Harleigh, Amherst; Robert, Edmonton; and John, Parrsboro; a brother, Robert,
Springfield, Missouri; 28 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, a son, Charles, and a daughter, Ruth
(Mrs. Aubrey Gilroy).
The body rested at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral was held Tuesday
at 2:00 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Fox River, Rev. Whitney
Trueman officiating. Burial was in the Church cemetery.
