Ever try searching on NSARM Vitals for Angus McDonald or Catherine McDonald.
Then there’s the possibility of MacDonald.
There’s literally 100’s of both.

One assumes most Cape Bretoners were Coal Miners but necessarily.
In this case, Angus McDonald was a Lumberman and may possibly have been from Cape Breton.
