Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Mae Berry (nee Wagner) age
50 of River Hebert, formerly of Amherst, announce her peaceful passing on
January 18, 2015 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper
Nappan, NS after a short, but very brave, battle with cancer.
Born in Amherst on January 11, 1965 she was the darling youngest daughter of
Joan and Bill Richard of Amherst, and Peter (Monica) Wagner of Florida.
Susie is survived by the love of her life husband Jeff, and the greatest
light of her life her beautiful 8 year old daughter Ashley at home. She will
be sadly missed by her sister Vicky and brother-in-law Mike (Comeau) of
Amherst, nephews Adam, Jordie, and Mickey, and niece Andrea. She also leaves
behind step-son J.J. of Sackville, NB, step-daughter Sherry of Amherst, and
many dear to her heart aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends. Susie
loved spending time with her family and friends, camping in Five Islands,
visiting her beloved Tidnish Docks, playing cards, and always had a big
smile and great laugh with everyone she visited along the way. She was loved
by all and will be dearly missed.
She was predeceased by paternal grandparents Mel and Beulah Wagner, maternal
grandparents Leo and Clara LeBlanc and step-grandparents Aurele and Ellen
Richard.
A heartfelt thank you to the CRHCC Palliative Care team of Dr. Short,
Sharon, Sherry, Vicky, & Terri-lynn, and all the Medical Unit RN¹s, LPN¹s,
and CCA's. Your love, kindness, and care for Susie will never be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
at Campbell¹s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, NS. (902-667-9906)
Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in Campbell¹s Chapel with
Rev. Byron Corkum officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Berry family in the care of
