Obituary
Silvea, Herbert Calvin
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Herbert
Calvin Silvea at his residence in Vancouver, B.C. Calvin was born on October
10, 1946 in Springhill to his parents, Herbert Silvea and Alexis Leblanc
(Gabriel). He was predeceased by his stepfather, Albert Leblanc and
grandparents, Robert and Bertha (Hatfield) Silvea and Roland and Muriel
(Noiles) Gabriel. Along with his parents, Calvin is survived by his
children, Amanda, Nikki, Jonathan and Aeden; grandchildren, Rashaun, Laryah,
Jayden, Tyasia and Zykarah; siblings, Bayfield (Marlene), Carl (Michelle),
Gary (Amy), Annette (Mark), Christine, Kenny and Dennis; nephews, Jesse,
Joey and Jaylen as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins. Calvin was a
wonderful man who loved his family and would do anything for them. He will
be profoundly missed by all. A cremation has taken place and a service will
be held on January 26 at 2 p.m. in the Salvation Army Springhill Community
Church. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made
Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
