OBITUARY: Mrs. Ernest Vidito
Lawrencetown - Mrs. Ernest Vidito, 83, of Anna Villa, Lawrencetown, died
Tuesday at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton.
She was the former Freda Ellen Hatfield, daughter of the late William and
Sarah (Miller) Hatfield.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The body is at Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, where funeral will be
today at 2 p.m., Rev. D.D. Sharpe officiating. Burial will be in St. James
Anglican Cemetery, Bridgetown at a later date.

OBITUARY: Ernest W. Vidito
Lawrencetown - The death of Ernest Willard Videto, retired contractor and
builder of Lawrencetown, occurred in Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton
following a brief illness. He was 70.
He was born at Nictaux, son of the late Elias and Mary-Jane Vidito. On Sept.
16, 1913 he was married at Amherst to Freda Hatfield of Port Greville who
survives. There were no children. Mr. and Mrs. Vidito lived at Cape Cod,
Mass. From 1924 to 1940 and in Bridgetown until 1952 when they moved to
Lawrencetown.
In later years Mr. Vidito was interested in gardening especially the growing
of strawberries, and also in poultry.
He was for many years an active member of the Old Fellows.
Besides his wife, he is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Agnes Grant,
Middleton; Bessie (Mrs. DeAmbrose), Digby; Eva (Mrs. Fred Guthreau),
Amherst; Edith (Mrs. Clarence Hayes), Amherst; Helen (Mrs. Walter
Fredericks), Round Hill; Maggie (Mrs. Dawson Guthreau), Amherst; four
brothers, Will, Digby; Clarence, Middleton; Herman, Bridgetown; Milford,
Amherst.
Funeral service was held from the Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton,
conducted by Rev. Lewis White, Saint James Anglican Church, Bridgetown.
Interment was in Saint James Cemetery.
