Mary Theresa (Phinney-Morris) Snook; Parrsboro connection

I believe Mary Theresa was born a Phinney in the U.S.A. (Mass. or New York)
in the 1890 - 1893 range and adopted by Hugh Ross Morris and his wife, Mary
Ann "Mamie" Redpath sometime just before 1901, and raised in Parrsboro
before her adoptive family moved to Great Village.

Hugh and Mamie didn't marry until 9 Aug 1898, thus my reasoning.

At this time I don't know if there's a "Parrsboro" Phinney connection.

I have two obits for William Henry Snook (1963 and 1964). I believe Gerry's
1964 transcription to be correct as it matches the headstone transcriptions.
Proves some things found on the internet are not considered reliable data.

I tried looking in the New Glasgow Evening News for her adoptive parent's
obits but those issues in the 1956 and 1961 time frames are missing on
microfilm at Halifax.
