Would you know roughly when Lloyd Brown died and/or where?
I have looked in the Chronicle Herald Obituary Index at the Halifax Archives a couple of times but gave up as there’s oodles of Lloyd Brown’s in the index so I gave up.
By narrowing things down to within 5 years, I might be able to locate his obit and post as I try to follow the Parrsboro Shore Crossmans.

Geraldine's 2nd husband was Charles Brown who had first been married to Jenny Crossman, daughter of Samuel and Sarah Crossman, East Fraserville. The step-son mentioned was Charles and Jenny's son Lloyd.

Geraldine Hazel Brown - 95, of Kentville, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was the daughter of the late Brenton and Lillian (Sanford) Banks. She was a member of Bethany Memorial Baptist Church, Aldershot, where she was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Community minded, Geraldine was involved in various activities within the area. She is survived by two grandchildren, Tanya Eastman, Kentville and Mark (Shannon) Eastman, Canaan; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Eastman, Kentville; a niece, June Cruickshank. Mt. Denson; nephews Stan Banks, Kentville and Harry Eisan, USA; many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Eastman; her second husband, Charles Brown; two sons, William and Wayne; a step-son LLoyd; a sister, Elsie; four brothers, Brenton Jr., Wylie, Laurie and Lindsay. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday Dec 1, 2014 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. the Funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in Bethany Memorial Baptist Church, Reverend Thelma McLeod officiating. Burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. Donations in memory may be made to Bethany Memorial Baptist Church, the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
