OBITUARY:
Wilson, Kathleen (Kaye) Rose - 65, Royal Road, RR7, Fredericton, N.B. died
April 27, 1992 in Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B. Born in
Rumford, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Yorke)
Newton. She was a member of Cardigan United Church UCW and past member of
the choir. She was also a member and district president of Women's
Institute, ladies auxiliary of Royal Canadian Legion, Napadogan, served in
Canadian Women's Army Corps from 1945-1946 and was active in community
affairs. She was a retired Sears employee. She is survived by her husband,
Vance; daughter, Lynette, Fredericton; two sons, Gregory, Birdton, N.B.;
Dennis, at home; two sisters, Audrey Rector, Bass River, Colchester County;
Lillian (Mrs. Albert Gadsby), Richmond Hill, Ont.; a niece; four nephews.
Funeral was in Nashwaaksis United Church, Fredericton, Rev. Murray
MacFarlane and Rev. Doug Woods officiating. Burial was in Douglas Rural
Cemetery. Donations may be made to Volunteer Ambulance Brigade, Burtis
Corner Division, of St. John Ambulance or any charity.
