OBITUARY: William (Bill) Robinson
Sackville, N.B. - William (Bill) Robinson, 59, of 13 Salem Street,
Sackville, died Saturday in Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in Diligent
River, he was a son of Blanche (Boyd) Robinson and the late Charles
Robinson. He was a resident of Sackville for the past 16 years, where he had
served on the town council and had been deputy mayor. He was a member of the
Presbyterian Church, and a former member of the Lions Club. Surviving
besides his mother are his wife, the former Bertha Hatfield; two daughters,
Bonnie (Mrs. James Smith), Harvey Station; Mildred (Mrs. Frank Evans),
LaHave; two sisters, Mary (Mrs. Gerald Porter), Wolfville; Alice (Mrs.
Kenneth Erb), Sussex, N.B.; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The body is at Campbell's Funeral Home, Sackville, where funeral will be 2
p.m. Tuesday. Dr. Brian Ross officiating. Burial will be in Port Greville
cemetery.
