Rev. Brice D. Knott officiated at the marriage of Margaret Armina and Ina Merceedes, daughters of Captain and Mrs. George Mayford Morris of Spencer's Island recently. The young ladies have resided in Truro for the past two years and were popular among their circle of young folks. The marriage in each case took place at Elm Street. On Wednesday June 30, Ina Merceedes became the bride of Charles McKenzie of the Canadian Express Company after the ceremony they left for the Sydney where they spent their honeymoon.

On July 14th Margaret Armina was united in marriage to Joseph Philliskirk Butt of St. Georges, Nfld. Mr. Butt is a mill wright. They left for Halifax and points west for their wedding tour. Mr. and Mrs. McKenzie will reside in Truro and Mr. and Mrs. Butt will make their home at St. Georges, Newfoundland.
