Lloyd Walter Vandenburg
1932-2014

Lloyd Walter Vandenburg 81 years, of Amherst Point, passed away at home on
February 23, 2014.

Born in Joggins, he was a son of the late Louie and Mable (Tipping)
Vandenburg.

During his earlier years he worked for the Stelco in Montreal and on the
lake boats and Oxford Frozen Food when he returned home.

Throughout his life time he loved fishing, hunting, gardening and talking to
his friends.Lloyd enjoyed spending time in his workshop and keeping active
He always enjoyed visits from his family and friends.

He will be dearly missed by his loving common-law spouse Shirley Fillmore
of. Warren N.S. ,sister Mary Legere, Amherst N.S.; brother
Lewis(Cindy)Vandenburg Vermont, USA; several special nieces and nephews

Beside his parents, He was predeceased by his wife the former Ella( Mann)
Vandenburg, sister Lillan Stevens ,brothers Charles and Ern

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home
, 70 Church St., Amherst ,N.S. No visitation by request.

A graveside service will be held in the Amherst Cemetery in the spring.

Should friends desire ,memorial contributions may be made to the Nova Scotia
Heart & Stroke Foundation ,Lung Association or charity of your choice.
