M. Robin Bickford
1956-2014
Surrounded by his loving family, the death of Murray Robin Bickford, 57, of
Amherst, occurred at his home on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Robin was
born in Amherst, a son of the late Murray and Mildred (LeBlanc) Bickford.

Robin was an outdoors man, he loved hunting and fishing. He worked for the
Department of Transportation for 32 years. He was a volunteer fireman with
the Leicester Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed gardening.

Robin will be sadly missed by his wife of 32 years, Kathy; daughter, Katie
of Saint John, N.B.; sons, Nathan (Carey) of Westville, NS, Mark of
Middleton, NS; a sister, Beverly (Roger) Hanright of Palm Bay, Florida; a
brother, Brian (Jocelyn) of Dartmouth, NS; six grandchildren, Ocean, Ash,
Seaka, Evan, Brayden and Jeremiah, as well as a sister-in-law, Sharon
Bickford of West Leicester, NS, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Walter and a brother
in infancy.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Furlong~Jones Funeral
Home, 70 Church Street, Amherst (902-667-8777). Honoring Robin's request
there is to be no visitation or funeral services. There will be a
celebration of Robin's life at the Leicester Volunteer Fire Department on
Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 2-4 pm.

Donations in memory of Robin may be made to Cumberland Palliative Care.
