J. Hibbert Rolfe
1921-2014

J Hibbert Rolfe, 92, of Springhill, passed away on Thursday, January 30,
2014 in All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Born in Springhill, he was a son of
the late John B. and Lily M. (Hunter) Rolfe.

A devoted member of the community, Hibbert served on the Springhill Town
Council for over 25 years, the All Saints Hospital Board, as well as the
school board. He was a true family man who loved his children,
grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandson.

He will be sadly missed by, sons, Dougie (Judy) Springhill Junction, Darrell
(Paulette) Pictou County, Breck (Margaret) Oxford, Stephen and Michael both
of Springhill; daughters, Dianne (Jack) Arsenault, Ottawa, Jane and Rosella
(Ed) Embree both of Springhill, Serena (Harold) Rout, Lethbridge, Alberta;
nineteen grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; one great great
grandson; a brother: Terry (Sarah) Springhill as well as a sister, Fannie
Twombly of Springhill.

Besides his parents; Hibbert was predeceased by his wife, the late Marjorie
Perrin; a son, Ricky; a daughter, Gloria; brothers, Leander, Ernest, Murray
and Fred and a sister Jennie.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902-597-2361). A Graveside Committal Service
at the Leamington Cemetery will be held at a later date. Donations in memory
of Hibbert may be made to a charity of one's choice.
