Thanks Greg and Ron for your tips, however I am still hitting a brick wall. There were 15 Arthur Mann's who enlisted in Canada, but none of these are listed as being a casualty of WW1 and none are listed as being buried in a Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery. I have narrowed the list of 15 down to two. The first isArthur E Mann born in England who was a coal miner by trade but enlisted in Valcartier Quebec. However I can not find him listed as a U.K soldier killed in WW1. Being a coal miner and in Canada in 1914 he may very well have been working in Joggins at the outbreak of the war. The second soldier was Arthur Lloyd Mann from Petitcodiac NB and was drafted in 1918, there is also no record that he was killed in the war. He was also the only one from the Maritimes that served, the rest of the Arthur Mann's were from Ontario or the West and there would be no connection to Joggins.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks Dara Legere
