Re: Arthur Mann: Joggins WW1

There were quite a few Arthur Mann's. Take your best guess.

I am trying to find information on Arthur Mann who is listed on the War Cenotaph in Joggins as a casualty of the First World War. I can not find his name listed in the Commonwealth War Graves data base or in the Veterans Affairs Canada data base as being a casualty. In fact he is not listed as being a Canadian soldier of WW1. I am presuming that he may have been a British citizen and returned to England to enlist at the beginning of the war. Is there a website to research British war casualties? He may have died from injuries after the war ended or maybe even from the influenza outbreak after the war and the citizens of Joggins honored him as a casualty of the war. Any information or leads to his story would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dara Legere
