It is with broken hearts that the family of Beverley Ann Baker age 61 of Fenwick announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Moncton, NB. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Amy Botsford (Lund) Baker. Bev was well loved and respected by her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and the many pets in her life. Two of Bev’s passions were Elvis Presley and motorcycling along with being with her family. Bev was kind, selfless and was always there to help others in her life. She will be sadly missed by her children Georgina (Mike) Sicheri of Amherst and Joey McKenzie (Terri-Mae Polley) of Port Elgin, NB, her grandchildren Jacob Sicheri and Keegan McKenzie. Bev also leaves to mourn, her sisters Helen (Gerald) Read, Gloria (Doug) Cormier, Judy (Bob Smith) and Theresa Jones, brothers George (Ann Gallagher), Ralph “Bud” (Dale), Robert “Bob” (Raylene Nash), Bill (Jean) and Doug (June) and many nieces and nephews. At Bev’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of Bev’s life for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 1 - 5 p.m. at the home of her daughter Georgina at 19 West Victoria Street, Amherst, NS.
In lieu of flowers and sympathy cards donations in her memory may be made to the L.A. Animal Shelter. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst, N.S. Online condolences and sharing of memories may be made to the family via: www.campbellsamherst.ca
